Publish your product

The ready-to-publish checklist and what has to be in place to go live.

For practitioners

Publishing makes your product public and available to buy. Before it can go live, a checklist makes sure the essentials are in place, so nothing half-finished reaches a learner.

The ready-to-publish checklist

The editor shows a live checklist of what still needs doing. It mirrors exactly what publishing requires, so if the checklist is satisfied, you can publish. Typical requirements include:

  • A clear title, overview, and outcomes.
  • The core lesson-plan fields for the type (for example the run-of-show for a workshop, and the practice-and-feedback for a cohort).
  • A price at or above the floor for that type (see Price your product).
  • For online live products, a connected Zoom.
  • A completed payout connection for paid products.

Publishing an online live product

When you publish an online live workshop or cohort, Maram creates the Zoom meeting on your connected account and prepares the join link. If your product includes a recording, cloud recording is set up automatically.

The agreement

Publishing requires that you have accepted the current Practitioner Agreement. If it has been updated, you accept the new version before publishing.

After publishing

Your product is live on your profile and in the catalog, and can be bought. You can still edit it. A change you make later does not change the promise for someone who already bought (their delivery and recording terms are fixed at their purchase).

Unpublishing

You can take a product back to draft, but if people have already enrolled, it stays available to them and cannot simply be deleted. To close something out that has buyers, cancel it, which refunds them. See Cancellations and reliability.
