Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 June 2026 (in-person delivery amendment)

These Terms of Service (Terms) are a legally binding contract between you and Maram Solutions Ltd (Maram, Maram Live, we, us, our) regarding your use of the Maram Live platform at maram.live and any related services we provide (the Services). PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. By creating an account or otherwise accessing or using the Services, you agree that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, including our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

GOVERNING LAW NOTICE. These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights under the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence. See Section 16 and Section 17.

1. About Maram

Maram Live is a global AI training platform. We connect learners with independent AI Practitioners who deliver live workshops, structured cohort programs, and other AI focused educational content. Maram operates the platform; AI Practitioners deliver the content.

Direct Charges and merchant of record. Maram Live operates on Stripe Connect Direct Charges. When you purchase a workshop, program, or other product from an AI Practitioner, the AI Practitioner is the seller and the merchant of record for that transaction. Maram acts as the platform that facilitates the sale and takes a 10% platform fee on each transaction. Refunds, chargebacks, and tax obligations for each sale follow the AI Practitioner, not Maram, except where these Terms, our Refund Policy, or applicable law provide otherwise. Where you have a question about a specific purchase, contact the AI Practitioner first; you may contact Maram support if the issue is not resolved.

In-person sessions. Where a workshop, cohort session, or other product is listed as in person, the AI Practitioner is the organiser, host, and deliverer of that in-person session. Maram provides the platform, payment, scheduling, communications, and account infrastructure. Maram does not book, own, operate, inspect, or control the venue unless a listing expressly says otherwise.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. Under the law of England and Wales, a person must generally be at least 18 to have full capacity to enter into this agreement. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have not previously been suspended or removed from the Services
  • Your registration and your use of the Services comply with all applicable laws and regulations

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of an entity, organisation, or company, the individual accepting these Terms represents and warrants that they have authority to bind that entity, and the entity agrees to be bound.

3. Your Account

To access most features of the Services you must register for an account. You agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it accurate and up to date.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password, and you accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. One account per person. You may not share your account credentials, login, or session access with any other person. We may suspend or terminate your account if we reasonably believe you have shared your account with a third party.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@maram.solutions immediately.

We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to disallow, cancel, remove, or reassign usernames or handles where we consider it necessary, for example where a handle is unlawful, infringing, or impersonates another person.

4. Payments

All purchases on Maram Live are priced and charged in US Dollars (USD), regardless of your country.

Taxes. The checkout total shown is the amount charged. Maram does not currently calculate or collect a separate tax amount unless checkout expressly states otherwise. AI Practitioners are responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and paying any taxes due on their sales and earnings, including any VAT, GST, sales tax, or similar obligation that applies because of their country of operation, your location, or the location where an in-person session is performed. Maram is responsible only for any tax, including UK VAT where it applies, on its 10% platform fee.

Payment processing. All payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's own terms of service. Maram does not store your card or bank account details.

Authorisation. You authorise Maram, the AI Practitioner you purchase from, and Stripe to charge all amounts due for your purchases, including any applicable taxes, to the payment method you provide.

Pricing changes. AI Practitioners set the price of their own workshops and programs. Maram or the AI Practitioner may change the price of a workshop or program at any time, but the price you pay at checkout is the price you are charged.

One seat per account. Each purchase entitles one person to access the workshop, program, or other product, unless a group or multi seat purchase is explicitly offered.

5. Refunds and Your Cancellation Rights

Refunds on Maram Live are governed by our Refund Policy at maram.live/legal/refunds, which forms part of these Terms.

Statutory cancellation right. If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you may have a legal right to cancel a purchase within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (or equivalent EEA law). Important exceptions apply to live events tied to a specific date and to digital content and recordings supplied immediately. The Refund Policy explains when this right applies and when it is lost.

Cancellations by Maram or the AI Practitioner. If a session or program is cancelled by Maram or the AI Practitioner, a full refund is issued to your original payment method.

Other situations. Outside the circumstances described in the Refund Policy and required by law, refunds are not issued for change of mind, scheduling conflicts, technical issues on your side, or non attendance.

Nothing in these Terms or the Refund Policy excludes or limits any rights you have as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.

6. Live Sessions, Access, and Recordings

Upon purchase you receive access to the workshop or program through your Maram Live account at maram.live/portal. Raw Zoom links and other access tokens are managed by the platform. For an in-person session, your account and purchase record may show venue details, arrival notes, and other attendance instructions after purchase.

In-person attendance. You are responsible for attending at the correct venue and time, following reasonable venue rules and practitioner instructions, and arranging your own travel, accommodation, equipment, visas, permissions, accessibility arrangements, and other personal logistics unless a listing expressly says otherwise. Maram is not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other third-party costs you incur in connection with an in-person session, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

Personal use only. Your access is personal to your account and may not be shared with any other person. Sharing your login, session access link, or Zoom registration link is a serious violation of these Terms and may result in account termination in accordance with Section 9.

Recording and redistribution. Workshops and programs delivered on Maram Live are intended for the registered attendee only. Recording, screen capturing, or otherwise reproducing the audio, video, slides, or chat of any live session, in whole or in part, is prohibited without the explicit prior written consent of Maram and the AI Practitioner. This includes simultaneous livestreaming of any session via a third party platform, including but not limited to Facebook Live, Instagram Live, TikTok, Twitch, X (Twitter) Spaces, and YouTube Live.

Session recordings provided by us. Where a session recording is included in your purchase, the recording is accessible through your Maram Live account for the period stated on the workshop or program page. Recordings are watermarked with your account details. Sharing, distributing, or reproducing recordings is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

7. Content Licences

Ownership of Practitioner Content. Each AI Practitioner owns all rights, title, and interest in the content they provide through the Services, including text, slides, images, videos, audio, recordings, materials, and any other works (collectively, Practitioner Content). You acknowledge that you receive only a personal, non transferable licence to access Practitioner Content for your own learning. You may not share, distribute, sell, or make Practitioner Content available to any third party.

Unauthorised use of Practitioner Content may constitute copyright infringement under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, which can give rise to civil claims (including damages and injunctions) and, in serious cases, criminal liability.

Use of User Content. If you submit any content to the Services, including reviews, ratings, testimonials, feedback, comments, questions, profile photos, or other materials (collectively, User Content), you retain ownership of your User Content. You grant Maram a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free, fully paid licence (with the right to sublicense through multiple tiers) to host, store, transfer, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, modify for the purpose of formatting for display, distribute, and otherwise use your User Content, in whole or in part, in any media formats and through any channels now known or later developed, including for marketing and promotional purposes. This licence ends when you delete your User Content or your account, except to the extent the content has been shared with others who have not deleted it, or we must keep it to comply with the law.

You also grant other users of the Services a non exclusive, royalty free licence to access and use your User Content as permitted by these Terms and the functionality of the Services.

You represent and warrant that you created the User Content or have the necessary rights to grant the licences above; that your User Content does not infringe any third party right (copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other); and that your User Content is not defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, hateful, or otherwise unlawful.

AI training restriction. You may not use any Practitioner Content, User Content of other users, or any other content available through the Services to train, fine tune, evaluate, or otherwise develop any artificial intelligence model, except where the AI Practitioner who owns the content has given you explicit written permission to do so.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
  • Harass, threaten, demean, embarrass, or otherwise harm any other user
  • Violate, or encourage others to violate, any right of a third party, including by infringing or misappropriating any third party intellectual property right
  • Interfere with security or access control features of the Services
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code of the Services, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law
  • Make any unauthorised recording or screen capture of any session content
  • Simultaneously livestream any session via any third party platform, including Facebook Live, Instagram Live, TikTok, Twitch, X Spaces, and YouTube Live
  • Upload viruses, malware, or any other malicious code
  • Make any unsolicited offer or advertisement to another user
  • Collect personal information about another user or third party without their consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity, claim a false affiliation, falsify your age or date of birth, or access any other account without permission
  • Sell, transfer, or assign the access granted under these Terms to any third party
  • Create multiple accounts
  • Use Practitioner Content or User Content of other users to train an AI model (see Section 7)
  • Attempt to do any of the above or assist any person in doing any of the above

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting support@maram.solutions.

We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where reasonably practicable, if you materially or repeatedly breach these Terms, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse, or where we are required to do so by law. Where we can give notice and the breach can be put right, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to do so before terminating, unless the breach is serious.

Upon termination, your access to the Services ends; you must immediately cease all use of the Services; you remain responsible for any amounts already owed; and Sections 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17 survive. Termination does not affect any refund you are entitled to under the Refund Policy or applicable law.

10. Modification of the Services

We may modify or discontinue parts of the Services from time to time. Where a change would materially reduce the Services you have already paid for, we will, where required by law, offer you a suitable alternative or a refund for the affected portion.

11. Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except where you are a consumer acting outside your trade, business, craft, or profession, you agree to defend and indemnify Maram and our officers, directors, employees, consultants, affiliates, subsidiaries, AI Practitioners, and agents from and against every claim brought by a third party, and any related liability, damage, loss, and expense, including reasonable legal fees and costs, arising out of or connected with your unauthorised use, sharing, distribution, or misuse of the Services or Practitioner Content; your breach of these Terms; or your violation of any third party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity right. This Section does not apply to ordinary consumer use of the Services in accordance with these Terms.

12. Disclaimers

The Services and all materials and content available through the Services are provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maram disclaims all warranties of any kind that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, viruses, or other harmful components. We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, career results, income, or the accuracy of any content delivered by AI Practitioners. AI Practitioners are independent and solely responsible for the content they deliver.

Nothing in this Section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your right under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to services carried out with reasonable care and skill.

13. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable, and we do not exclude or limit your statutory rights in any way.

Subject to the paragraphs above, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Maram, its officers, directors, employees, consultants, affiliates, subsidiaries, AI Practitioners, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, goodwill, or other intangible loss, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Services. Subject to the first two paragraphs of this Section, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the greater of the total amount you paid to Maram in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.

14. AI Practitioner Relationships

AI Practitioners are independent and are not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of Maram. Maram is not responsible for the actions, conduct, or content of any AI Practitioner. Any agreement between you and an AI Practitioner is solely between the two of you; Maram is not a party, except in its role as the platform and, where applicable, as collector of its platform fee.

15. Copyright Complaints

If you believe content on the Services infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, send a notice to support@maram.solutions. See Section 12 of our Privacy Policy for the information your notice should include. Notices raising infringement under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 will be reviewed promptly.

Maram may remove content and may terminate the account of any user who is the subject of repeated infringement notices.

16. Resolving Disputes

We want to resolve any problem quickly and fairly. If you have a concern, please contact support@maram.solutions first, and we will try to resolve it directly.

Consumers. If you are a consumer, you can bring proceedings in respect of these Terms in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in another part of the United Kingdom or in an EEA country, you may instead bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. You may also be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) scheme.

Business users (including AI Practitioners). If you use the Services in the course of a business, you and Maram agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and the separate AI Practitioner Agreement governs the practitioner relationship.

17. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you also keep the protection of any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of any change that materially affects your rights or obligations, by email or a notice on the platform. Immaterial changes are effective on publication. If a material change is not acceptable to you, you may close your account before it takes effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

19. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other agreements expressly incorporated by reference, are the entire agreement between you and Maram regarding your use of the Services.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to another company, provided this does not reduce your rights under them.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that or any other provision.

Third party rights. Except as expressly stated, a person who is not a party to these Terms has no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any of its terms.

Electronic communications. By using the Services, you consent to receive communications from us electronically, and you agree that electronic notices satisfy any legal communication requirements.
