Maram runs your live sessions on your own Zoom account. You connect Zoom once, and after that Maram creates each meeting for you, shares the link with your learners, and imports the recording where your product includes one.
Bring your own Zoom
Maram does not provide Zoom seats. You use your own Zoom account, the same as on comparable platforms. This keeps you as the host of your own room.
Zoom Pro is required for online live products
To publish an online live workshop or cohort, you need at least a Zoom Pro account (around 160 US dollars a year, paid to Zoom). A free Zoom account is not enough, because it caps meetings at 40 minutes and does not include cloud recording.
Connecting
- In your practitioner area, find the Connect Zoom card.
- Select connect and sign in to Zoom when prompted.
- Approve the connection. You are returned to Maram, now connected.
Your connection is stored securely.
What Maram does with it
- When you publish an online live product, Maram creates the meeting on your Zoom.
- Everyone enrolled uses one shared join link.
- If your product includes a recording, Maram turns on cloud recording and imports the recording for your learners automatically once it is ready.
You host and moderate
You are the host of your sessions and you run the room. Maram provides the rails (the meeting, the links, attendance, and recording import), not moderators.
Disconnecting
You can disconnect Zoom from the same card. Note that you need a connected Zoom to publish new online live products.
