Maram is a vetted platform. Practitioners do not go live the moment they sign up; they apply, are reviewed, and only approved practitioners can publish and sell. This is deliberate: the calibre of practitioners is what makes Maram worth trusting.
Who can teach
Practitioners teach AI. We look for real, demonstrable AI expertise and the ability to teach it well. You do not need to be famous; you need to genuinely know your area and be able to help people learn it.
Applying
You apply from Become a practitioner. You need an account first, and the application uses details already on your profile, so it does not ask you to re-enter your name, photo, or location.
The application collects the evidence we vet on:
- Track record. Your years in AI and your role and audience.
- Proof of expertise. Links to real work you have built (such as a product, repository, paper, or talk), and a written answer describing an AI system you built end to end.
- A teaching sample. A short pre-recorded video link (a few minutes) where you teach one concept. This is private to the reviewers and is not shown on your public profile.
- References. Two contactable references.
How the review works
We review every application against a clear standard, weighting verifiable work and references most heavily. The outcome is approve, request more information, or not approve. You can save your progress and come back to the application later.
After approval
Once approved, you complete a short one-time setup and your teaching tools unlock. See Practitioner setup.
While under review
You remain a normal learner while your application is being reviewed, and you can use Maram as usual.
