Report a session that did not happen

What to do if a session you paid for did not take place.

For learners

If you paid for a session and it did not take place, tell us. This is part of how Maram protects your payment, and it is separate from asking for a refund.

When to use this

Use it if a workshop or cohort session you were enrolled in did not happen, for example the practitioner did not show up or the session was never run. You can report it after the session's scheduled end time.

How to report it

  1. Open the product in your account.
  2. Use the This didn't happen? Report it option on the session or purchase.
  3. Tell us briefly what happened.

For services, you can report it from the service card once the practitioner has marked it delivered but you did not actually receive it.

What happens next

  • Reporting it holds the practitioner's payment for that session, so their money is not released while we look into it.
  • An admin reviews the report and resolves it. If the session genuinely did not happen, the delivery is not counted, which protects your refund.

This is on top of your normal protections

You do not have to report a problem to be treated fairly. If a session is cancelled or a practitioner does not show, you are refunded automatically anyway. Reporting is there for the cases that need a human to look. See Refunds and cancellations and The Maram Guarantee.
