How live sessions work

Live on the practitioner's Zoom, with recordings where included.

For learners

Live sessions on Maram run on the practitioner's own Zoom account. Maram creates the meeting, gives you the join link, and, where a recording is included, imports it for you afterwards.

Live means live

Workshops, cohort sessions, and sprint lessons happen at a set date and time. You attend live so you can take part and ask questions. The product page and your portal show the time in your own local time zone, so you do not have to convert anything.

Joining

Shortly before and during the session, your join link is available in your account. See Join a live session for exactly where to find it.

Recordings

Whether a session is recorded depends on the product. Some paid products include a recording you can watch for a set window (for example 7, 14, or 30 days) after the session. Others are live only, with no recording. Free Sprint Lessons are always live only.

Always check the product page: it states whether a recording is included and for how long. Do not assume every session is recorded. See Watch recordings.

If you miss a session

If a recording is included, you can catch up within its window. If the product is live only, there is no recording to catch up with, so plan to attend live. For cohort programs, sessions run to a schedule you can see in advance.

If a session does not happen

If a practitioner cancels or does not show up, you are refunded automatically. If a session you paid for did not take place, you can tell us. See Report a session that did not happen.
