Overview
This six-week live cohort teaches the engineering principles behind building and deploying agentic AI systems. It is designed for people who want to move beyond experimenting with AI tools and start architecting reliable, production-ready pipelines. You will build throughout the program and finish with a complete capstone project that demonstrates you can design and ship end-to-end agentic systems. The curriculum is developed by practitioners with backgrounds building AI at companies including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and Fireworks AI.
What you'll learn
- Build agentic AI systems from scratch using production engineering principles
- Architect multi-step AI pipelines that are reliable and ready to deploy
- Complete a full capstone project demonstrating end-to-end system design
- Apply concepts from guest lectures delivered by engineers at partner AI companies
- Evaluate tradeoffs when designing agentic workflows for real-world use cases
- Ship working AI projects you can use to demonstrate applied skills to employers
Schedule
- 2 weeks, 2 live sessions, one each week. The first is 06 Aug 2026, 4:15 PM GMT+8, and they run weekly after that.
- Every session is recorded. You keep the recording for 30 days after each one, so you can catch up if you ever miss one live.

FAQ
Who is this cohort designed for?
This program is built for people who already have some exposure to AI tools and want to move into building and deploying production-ready agentic systems. If you are a developer, engineer, or technical practitioner looking to work seriously with agentic AI rather than just experiment with it, this is aimed at you.
What prior knowledge or experience do I need before joining?
You should have a working foundation in programming and some familiarity with AI concepts before enrolling. This is not an introduction to AI from scratch, it picks up from a point where you are ready to think about architecture and deployment.
How is the program structured and how long does it run?
The cohort runs over six weeks and is delivered live, so you will be learning alongside other participants in real time rather than working through pre-recorded material at your own pace. The curriculum builds progressively toward a capstone project you complete by the end of the program.
What do I walk away with at the end?
You finish with a completed capstone project that demonstrates you can design and ship an end-to-end agentic AI system, along with a certification from The Gen Academy. The project is meant to be something you can point to as evidence of your ability to build production-ready pipelines.
Who developed the curriculum and teaches the sessions?
The curriculum was developed by practitioners who have built AI systems at companies including Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, and Fireworks AI. Sessions are live, so you have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the instructors.
Is this cohort self-paced or do I need to attend at specific times?
The cohort is live, which means sessions are scheduled and you are expected to participate in real time with your cohort. If you need full flexibility to learn on your own schedule, this format may not be the right fit.
