Maram Live Zoom integration
This guide explains how to add the Maram Live Zoom integration to your Zoom account, what it does, and how to remove it. Maram Live is a platform where vetted AI practitioners teach live workshops and cohort programs. The integration lets you run those sessions on your own Zoom account.
Adding the app
You add the integration from inside your Maram Live practitioner dashboard, not from the Zoom App Marketplace.
- Sign in to Maram Live and open your practitioner dashboard.
- Find the Connect Zoom card on the dashboard and click Connect Zoom.
- You are taken to Zoom's authorization screen. Review the permissions and click Allow.
- You return to your dashboard, which now shows your Zoom account as connected.
Troubleshooting adding the app
- If authorization fails or you land back on the dashboard not connected, click Connect Zoom again and make sure you click Allow on Zoom's screen.
- If your browser blocked a pop-up or redirect, allow it for maram.live and retry.
- Make sure you are signed in to the Zoom account you want to teach from before authorizing.
- If it still fails, email support@maram.solutions with the email on your Zoom account and we will help.
Using the app
Once your Zoom is connected, the integration works automatically as you run your products. Each feature and its prerequisites:
Create a live session
What it does: when you publish a live workshop or a cohort session, Maram Live creates a scheduled meeting on your Zoom account with cloud recording switched on. Prerequisite: a connected Zoom Pro account, and a workshop or cohort session with a date and time set.
Create and publish a test Zoom session
Practitioners do not book the meeting directly in Zoom. You create and schedule the session in Maram Live, save it as a draft, then publish it. The Zoom meeting is created on your connected Zoom account when you publish.
- Sign in to Maram Live and open your practitioner dashboard.
- Confirm the dashboard shows Zoom connected. For a paid test session, Stripe must also be connected.
- Open Products and choose Workshop for a paid live session or Sprint Lesson for a free 30-minute live session.
- Add the title, date, start time, delivery settings, categories, and price.
- Click Save draft and review. Maram opens the draft editor.
- Review the draft, then click Publish. Maram creates the Zoom meeting at this step.
- After publishing, learners join from their Maram account and the session uses your connected Zoom account.
Share one join link
What it does: all enrolled learners receive the same join link for the session, so they can join at the scheduled time. Prerequisite: at least one enrolled learner and a created meeting.
Track attendance
What it does: when learners join and leave the meeting, Maram Live records attendance against their enrollment, matched by email. Prerequisite: the session runs on your connected Zoom account.
Import the recording
What it does: after the session, Zoom finishes processing the cloud recording and Maram Live imports the recording link into the learner portal automatically. Prerequisite: cloud recording stays enabled on your Zoom account.
Removing the app
You can remove the integration at any time, from Maram Live or from Zoom. Either method revokes Maram Live's access to your Zoom account.
From Maram Live
- Open your practitioner dashboard.
- On the Connect Zoom card, click Disconnect Zoom.
From Zoom
- Sign in to the Zoom App Marketplace and open Manage, then Added Apps (or visit your Zoom account's Installed Apps).
- Find Maram Live and click Remove.
What de-authorization means
After you remove the integration, Maram Live can no longer create meetings on your Zoom account, track attendance, or import new recordings. Meetings and recordings that already exist on your Zoom account are not affected and remain in your Zoom account.
How we handle your data
When you disconnect (from Maram Live, or when Zoom notifies us that you removed the app), Maram Live deletes the Zoom access and refresh tokens it held for your account. While connected, those tokens are encrypted at rest. Maram Live never downloads or stores your meeting video; it stores only the Zoom-hosted recording link so enrolled learners can watch.
